Show me your LPS dominated reeftanks!

Well, another "show me" thread.

With all the great LPS corals there has to be some tanks that are mainly LPS. And i would like to see them tankshots, FTS or whatever.

Post your pics and if you want to a short description.

If there is a thread like this already, please accept my apologies.

Thank you addo! and yes that orange lobo was a find, the store didn't know what it had in fact it was priced as a small carpet anemone, so the price was ridiculous at $30 :-) I grabbed it and ran out of the store real fast...haha!

That orange lobo is amazing! It was the first piece that caught my eye in the FTS.

What pieces do you have in the sandbed on the left side?

Thanks driftin, on the left side we have: various zoo colonies, a rose coral (a local brain coral), a maxima clam, a favia brain, a cynarina, a scolymia, a frogspawn and a candy cane coral (Caulastrea furcata).

Thank you adddo, most of the corals where put into my 210 divider here, it's not quite up to snuff yet- I should have left the 125 as it was but even after all these years........I still get too excited when it comes to a new tank. TinMan

Niiice Tinman, i like the rockwork. How have you done it? Is it stacked? Or did you secure it somehow?

Looks great!

She is an aussie. the skeleton alone is 12" in length (horseshoe shape) so expanded she is ALOT bigger. That pic is about two hours after being introduced into the tank. I will snap a newer pic soon to show you her progress.

I'm about 4-6 months into this tank. I'm just now straightening out my phosphate issues, so I think things will really start to take off. Got a little Cyano problem, and a few of my trumpets have died. The pick of the frogspawn is early in the am. It triples in size by noon!!
Tomorrow I'm beefing up my cleanup crew, and I'll have my eye out for a few more lps.
Here

Thanks again adddo, some of the rockwork is drilled and glued together with plastic rods, but the majority is just carefully stacked. TinMan

Here are some pics of the tank at the 10 month time. I just did a big overall today--added a purple tube anemone, a big acan, and a nice green with pink tips elegance.
I'll post pics of the upgrades in a couple of days--I did some prunning of the colt and mushroom so right now everyone is made a me and don't feel like having their pic taken--LOL

Just finished ( is it ever really finished ) setting up my 180 inwall. The walls arent quite done, but the tank is full. Still gotta get the closed loop running and get rid of the powerheads.

Capn_Hylinur,

Is that an Indo or Aussie elegance? How long have you had it and what kind of lighting is it under? Sorry for all the questions but I am still in the market for an elegance but haven't had much luck. Not with the Indo ones anyway.

Thanks.
