What is this???

So my anemone decided to unattach itself from the side of the tank and blow around like a lonely tumble weed for awhile. It’s a rose bubble tip anemone. Well it caught itself on this rock after it decided to sting my Duncan coral and I noticed a new anemone growing out of it? Did it have a baby or clone itself or split? Please help me should I be worried about this little guy? Is he a pest?

tiny anemones like that are nothing good. These anemones always multiply quickly and sting other animals. I would kill it quickly if you can. I sometime remove the rock and cover the area with epoxy, or heat the area with a cooking torch. Often these anemone retract into crevices and it is impossible to remove them manually. Leaving the be, invariably result in a plague later on unless you have animals in the tank that eat them.

Hard to tell from the picture. If the anemone have a ball at the end of each tentacles then it is of no danger to your tank
