14 years ago today...i had an emergency, life saving, open heart surgery. and they told me i wasn't going to live very long...but i survived chemo, thousands of tests...and in 2001, they said that i had one good year and one bad year left...and in 2003, when they told me i would die...again...i was pregnant with my little miracle boy, Liam.
As stated...I refuse to be a statistic.
