Radiata eating frozen food

Posted 01/11/2011 at 05:53 AM by sacremon

Continuing along with my weaning training, I bought some PE mysis, thawed some and then somewhat painstakingly found individual mysis that were intact enough and not as mushy as others to be able to be pierced by the fishing line. The radiata sees that they are shrimp-shaped and have eyes, and are on the end of the line, which is good enough for him. Now to see if I can get him onto food that doesn't have eyes, like regular table shrimp. He'll need to be larger anyway, to eat the smallest of the shrimp I am able to find, so it will be PE mysis for the nonce, along with live ghost shrimp (once they come in).
