Sharks, Skates, and Rays

This will be dedicated to the keeping of Sharks, Rays and Skate in the home aquarium.
I have 19 years of experience with at least 18 different species of elasmobranches.
In addition I have 30 consecutive years logged with a running saltwater tank and 24 years in reefkeeping.
It will cover:
Species, identification, selection, purchasing, collection, growth, diet, health, disease, medications, water parameters, tankmates, breeding, mishaps, equipment, costs, and everything else for these fish without bones.

Species past and present
Common, PNG and speckled epaulettes, wards and tasseled wobbegongs, short tail nurse sharks, blind sharks, zebra horn sharks, dusky dogfish, Atlantic ray, southern ray, little skate, Arabian bamboo sharks, Hasselts bamboo sharks, brown sharks, dusky sharks, brown banded bamboo sharks, piked dogfish, clear nose skate, butterfly rays.Posted 09/02/2012 at 08:53 PM by alprazo
