Trip to the LFS

Well, we travelled FAR, to a big store in another city, and I'm very pleased with our purchases. Five blueleg hermits, five good-sized turbo snails, and some frags I couldn't resist (parameters are back to normal).
After acclimating the snails I placed three of them directly onto the algae-covered flat rock at the top of the tank and they began to DEVOUR the buffet before them! The rock is half clear already, and they're still working away.
The frags are small -- a purple tipped hammer, a pink and green torch, and some xenia that my son went bananas over -- he says it's just like Nemo's anemone. Since it's one of my favourite corals, I thought why not.
I also purchased some phosphate adsorbing resin, a media bag, and an Aquaclear filter to hang on the side of the sump. I put fine floss, 50 micron media, carbon, and the phosphate media into the AC filter. Hoping it will work a little magic over night and clear the water up, the particulates are driving me nuts!
If I can get some pictures tomorrow, I'll post my progress; this should be interesting to look back on in a year or two!
