I figured I would take full advantage of my membership and start a blog. If you are viewing this, please feel free to make tasteful comments and advice.
This deployment has given me COPIOUS amounts of time to research and plan improvements and upgrades to my 125gal tank.
I have all of these on a living word document, but why not share (and open myself to comments and suggestions)?

Well, what do you do on a day off while deployed and you are nowhere near your tank???
PLAN! (PowerPoint doodles)
Here is the basic layout for one of my many projects when I get home. Everything is purchased and sitting in my closet, begging to be installed!
***Note: Future Blog posts will include real pictures and lessons learned from actual install)

Basically, saltwater mixing stations downstairs with a I/O switch to the pump under the upstairs kitchen sink. Under the sink will be a ball valved hose to dispense into buckets. The pump I/O switch will be mounted under the sink as well for easy on/off operation.
**This is a rental house, otherwise I would be planning auto water changes! LOL

The upgrade for my BRS 4Stage RO/DI. Adding a booster pump and 5th stage for Chloramines. ALSO, (my favorite part), I will run one of the lines straight to my ATO Reservoir upstairs!! Luckily my reservoir sits above a basement closet. No one will know I drilled a hole upstairs!
