I figured I would take full advantage of my membership and start a blog. If you are viewing this, please feel free to make tasteful comments and advice.
This deployment has given me COPIOUS amounts of time to research and plan improvements and upgrades to my 125gal tank.
I have all of these on a living word document, but why not share (and open myself to comments and suggestions)?

A few more additions...
HUGE shoutout to the "Used Equipment & Drygoods Selling" section of RC and personally to Anarchyx914! Thanks to him, my new dosers and 2-part kit came in!

Also, thanks to my hard working wife who runs everything while I'm deployed, I got a couple of these bad boys. 55 gallon drums with screw on lids. These will replace the 35 gallon trash cans that I currently use for mixing water and storing RO/DI water. PLUS, the strength and durability of these make it much easier to add float valves.

Finally, I ordered more Live Rock from BRS. It should be in next week, and can start curing before I come back home in December.
