To start, here’s the latest highlights of my Tank and Fuge.

For the last month I've been struggling with determining the right balance and amount of foods.
Even though my Nitrates and Phosphates are zero (due in part to Biopellets, Fuge and GFO), I know there are too much nutrients in the system, since I'm battling some Cyano and hair algae and I have plenty of Nassarius snails. Since I'm still a newbie, though, it's really hit and miss experimentation at this point.
This is the list of foods I'm using, which as I'm typing them I thinking is way too much:

Hikari Mysis shrimp – I currently put a cube in a squeeze bottle with saltwater and squeeze in about 20 shrimp in the afternoon. These are mainly for the Clowns, Blenny and Hermit Crabs.
Omega One Marine Flakes with Garlic – I feed my Ocellaris Clownfish this and the love it. I put in a miniscule pinch in 3-4 times a day.
Arcti Pods – I put in 5-10 drops per day mid-morning. I started using these to supplement live pods for my Ruby Red Scooter Blenny, but it appears to benefit all the enhabitants.
Oyster Feast – I started adding this for my 5 Turkey wing clams that are on 2 pieces of Florida live rock and the corals. My current plan is to quit this for a week or so and see what it does to the clams, tunicates, corals.
Phyto Feast – I started adding this for the clams and pods in the Fuge. My current plan is to quit this for a week or so and see what it does to the clams, tunicates, corals.
So I’ll see what happens over the course of the next few weeks.
