A No-cycle QT

The advantage is, you can just empty it, clean it, tuck all its gear away in it and store it in your closet until you need it again.

What you need:
light is optional, but you should have one available so you can turn it on to see your fish clearly: a magnifying glass is not a bad idea.

A heater, definitely.

A pump, some pillow floss (hobby store or sewing notions store---but be SURE it doesn't have the words 'antimicrobial' anywhere on the package.)...

Mostly Caribbean biotype.

Size: 300G (96x24x30H) + 60G refugium

Lighting:
3x Kessil 360WE w. Kessil controller
3x 21" tubular skylights

Circulation:
2x closed loop driven by:
2x 3"x5' airlifts (~500 GPH each)
Vectra M1 (reef crest mode)

Nezmo Productions, from tanks to reefs.

It all started back around 1975. We were visiting friends in Pittsburgh, and they told us they had a very cool place to show us on this trip. They took us to Monroeville and stopped at a place called Elmer's Aquarium.
