Life, it is sucking

Not so happy fish. My LFS owner, Chris, does the QT for my fish, and generally holds on to them for a couple weeks at least. When he brought over the zebra moray and the goatfish, the goatfish had only been there for about a week. I didn't know he had it, he was surprising me with it. I saw the goat scratch a little in the first couple days, but that appeared to go away.
A couple weeks ago, I noticed that one of the eyes on the volitans had gotten cloudy. I called Chris over, who noted that the tang and the rabbit also had ick. We started adding Metro and KanamPlex to the food, bound to it with Focus. The lion initially didn't want to eat, but when he was actually looking a little better, he ate a couple shrimp with KanaPlex on it. From that point on, the lion's condition got worse. Thursday of last week, the goatfish started acting odd, hiding much of the time. Saturday morning we found the goat dead. The lion died yesterday. The rabbit has one cloudy eye now, though he has managed that in the past by banging into things.
The remaining fish look ick-free, though the tang was doing some scratching on Saturday. I am continuing to treat with both medications. The eel looks fine, never had any indication of problems with him. I don't really know if it was the goatfish or perhaps something that came in with one of the corals, or both, but this is the worst incident I have had in the tanks so far. I had raised the lion from when it was about 3" in length, and he had quite a personality.
I'm not going to add anything to the tank for a month, fish or coral, to make sure things are gone. I'm really saddened about the loss of both fish, both from the suddenness and by how much they mattered to me.
