Yeah, i do that, too.
Moondreams k.f.mcnally, 11.23.09
in the black sky, hanging silently there
the moon cradled dreams.
its brilliant golden crescent fair
beckoned the dreamer to stand speechless.
its partner that night, with its faint red glow
encouraged those dreams to be sought
such turbulent winds there blow
such beauty only visible to closer watchers.
beneath these heavens crisp and clear
those who seek will have their time
close their eyes, breath no fear
and those thoughts will rise on invisible wings.
in the vast finality of the endlessness of space
there is no time, no barriers to climb
there is only the privacy of heart and untold grace
here the soul finds the inner dreams untouched.
the longer the watcher stands beneath this sight
they will be lifted to a place where there are no rules
they can laugh, dance, love to the greatest height
in the safety of those heavenly giants.
the dreamer dreams, no one hears
the secret only the moon can cradle
the watcher watches, for so many years
surrendering their deepest treasures
praying for the safety of their travel.

Blue
Had a hard day I see
She says as I open the door
A drop of perspiration falls
Making it home upon the floor
I grab her neck and twist
No I'm not mad at all
She pops and hisses and glugs
As her pride begins to fall
Refreshing my soul and body
Cooling my inner self
Calming my uptight emotions
I see her friend there on the shelf
Pop the top
And sip again
You and the remote control
Are my only friendsPosted 03/22/2010 at 12:02 AM by alphaferret -
