calcium reactors: How do they work
Could some1 please tell me how calcium reactors work, i am looking to get one for my 90 that i am setting up. The major question i have is how does it not add to much calcium.
and what all will i need and where is the cheapest place to buy one, with all the goodies. Thanks |
You release CO2 in the reaction chamber.
pH in reaction chamber lowers Media melts in lower pH water thereby releasing calcium and elevated alkalinity. Water in reaction chamber is released back into the tank. |
so a calcium reactor will take care of caclium and alk?
how does it know when caclium is to high or low or what happens to regulate that. thanks for the reply |
test kits.
you should buy the basic 3. alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium. regarding dialing in a calcium reactor, there's a ton of info if you do a search for it. |
