You release CO2 in the reaction chamber.

pH in reaction chamber lowers

Media melts in lower pH water thereby releasing calcium and elevated alkalinity.

Water in reaction chamber is released back into the tank.

so a calcium reactor will take care of caclium and alk?

how does it know when caclium is to high or low or what happens to regulate that.

thanks for the reply

test kits.

you should buy the basic 3.

alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium.

regarding dialing in a calcium reactor, there's a ton of info if you do a search for it.
