sequence barracuda
Well I finally got my sump and refugium running in my basement I'm using a reeflo sequence barracuda pump to bring the water back upstairs and I have it about half way chocked back per ball valve. I just checked the set-up and the pump is getting hot to the touch. Do these pumps heat up like that or do I have it chocked back to much? I'm just worried about burning up my pump.

I'd be concerned too. I wouldn't run it hot unless it's explicitly designed for that.

Mine was hot to the point that I could keep my hand on it for about 10 seconds before hot became discomfort. Sorry, this is the only way I can describe it...

Hop that's about what I'm seeing to, so this is normal?
|
That would be normal;)
