Vortech mp10 or mp40?
 
Hi,
Is anyone running a vortech mp10 on a 120 and is it enough flow for a FOWLR? I don't need a lot of movement, I just want to eliminate deadspots and keep nutrients suspended.

I don’t think the mp10 will work on such thick glass. You may have to go with a 40. I have one on my 120 along with other powerheads…if I had to do it again I would have stuck with tunze.

mp40 even for a fowlr. flow isnt just for corals. flow also makes healthier fish since they would have to swim more against the current. better flow also prevents detritus from settling onto rocks ruining water quality.

+1 I do not think a mp10 would hold to thicker glass.
