BRS carbon / GFO reactor?

I know there's a lot of folks that use these but I've only used the 2LF media reactor, which was nice. I have the chance to pick up a BRS used from a friend and was wondering what the pros and cons are. I only plan on using carbon in it.

Thanks!

is it a dual reactor? Or does it run both gfo and carbon in the same housing? I can tell you I ran the single on my last tank gfo on bottom carbon on top. It was a pain to change the media. If its the dual system I think your in good shape either way its a well built reactor

Yeah, it's a dual reactor, but I was told I may need to replace the insert in one of the chambers. No big deal really but I wanted to know about serviceability, build quality, etc. I don't want to get it and come to find out some people have issues with leaking, breakage, etc.

Thanks.

Understood I can tell you I ran mine for about 2 years with no issues or leaks.
