lighting on a 300 gallon 8ft tank
 

Hey Guys,

I'm looking at lighting set ups for the 300 (8ft long) and wanted to know your opinion. I was going to do a t-5 set up and now debating on these two:

2x 4ft t-5 set up

OR

1x 6ft t-5 set up

Do you guys think choosing the 6ft set up centered which would leave one foot on each side with no lighting cast a shadow on the sides of tank? I was leaning towards the two 4ft set ups but felt cost wise if a 6ft set up can pull it off with no issues I would go that route.

I would go for the 2-4' setup so there is even light plus you have more options on what lamps u use in the 4' compaired to the 6'
