bio pellets after carbon in reactors?

I know the bacteria can clog up carbon if it is used before, but can u use one pump, and 2 reactors, with carbon first, and pellets second? Flow is about 200 gph...

They have different flow rates.

It is probably best to use two pumps or a large one teed off to run both reactors.

What is the recommended flow for bio pellets? My system has 125 gallons of actually water in it... how many times can I expect to turn that over through the reactor realistically? Once? Maybe twice?

Whatever it takes to fluidize the pellets. A maxijet 1200 usually won't cut it unless its in a really small reactor.

I am pushing probably 400gph through my bio pellets to get them fluidized properly.

i have read you want them to tumble pretty steadily i guess you could say, which is how my carbon tumbles... so im guessing one pump would be fine, giving you didnt put carbon after pellets, i dont imagine the carbon first would effect the performance of the pellets, but i dont know to much about that part...

I have a MJ600 on a TLF 150 with biopellets and think the flow rate is good - do a little reading - I think people jack up the flow rates a bit too high typically - Of course, just my opinion.
