Which electronic ballast for Pheonix 14K SE bulb?
 
Hi y'all,

I need to replace one of my electronic ballasts since it is operating erratically. It fails to come on every other day or even more frequently now.

I have three 250W Phoenix 14K SE bulbs over my 180 gallon tank. I have two IceCap ballasts that are working well. Which ballast/what make do you recommend to replace the one with problem in order to maintain the uniform look?

Why not replace it with an Icecap ballast from Coralvue, they are the same technology from what I read, just re-branded since they were acquired. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken.

Have you seen something to suggest that one ballast would make an appreciable difference over another? I remember reading (I think) Sanjay's work suggested electronics were relatively equal.

How old are your two Icecaps? That might make a difference?
