in sump frag tank Light ideas
 

I am going to put some egg crate in my sump and have a mini frag system and I need suggestions on LEDs. I have 2 Radion G3 pros above the DT and I want something that will be good for growth and color, small, and something that can handle high humidity levels. My sump is in a closet so the humidity is pretty crazy when the door is closed but I'm working on a ventilation plan.

I have been thinking a Kessil because of the way it mounts is fairly easy... But I am looking for outside opinions.

How big of an area do you want to cover and what requirements do you have regarding price and controllability?

i want it to be less expensive ... which is why im not getting another radion. the space is not very big its probably 12x16 ... i am shooting for less than $300 on this and i would love to be able to control it with the apex but if its just a manual control from the back of the light that is fine.

Do you run your radions on reeflink? I to run pros on DT and just bought a mini radion pro for frag tank. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/ecotec...t-fixture.html. You wouldn't have to worry about lighting differences as far as color and par when you move stuff back and forth which is nice. I am very happy with it and chose it because of the easy programming and syncing up to vortech pumps also. Good luck

With that price range and those sizes I'd save as much money as possible, if you have the space I'd get a chinese black box off ebay, there are some models that have built in controllers and I believe the cheaper ones can be modified to work with an apex if you are dead set on apex control.
