Lighting a 7.5 gal cube
Looking for suggestions on a good light for growing zoas and maybe an LPS in a 1x1x1, 7.5gal cube
Fairly cheap Not concerned of what type of lighting |

I would add one of these DIY kits. They are easy to build, cheap and should be sufficient for the type of corals you want to keep in your tank.
This is a 14 LED kit for around $70 and it includes the heatsink This one has 20 LEDs, but is not dimmable, I think. Good luck. |
I used the cheap (cheaper) reefbreaders value light when I had my 7.5 set up. I upgraded to a 20 long, kept the light. it hung over a bit, but I hung the light from the ceiling and it wasn't noticeable. I had great growth, I had zoas, xenia, octospawn, ricordia, and a bit of gsp. Everything grew nicely.
