Sump, pods and a damsel - can they coexist?

My tank is now well established (8 months), and my refugium is full of rock rubble and algae. I've got a bottle of pods arriving today, and want to add half to the display, half to the refugium (I think that's a good idea).

The thing is, I have a 3-striped damsel living in there. He was a jerk in the display, so I banished him until he finds a new home (no one wants him).

Would a damsel destroy a pod population in the refugium?

he would eat some of them. . . are you trying to feed a certain fish with the pods?

Not so much, really. He'll eat mostly fishfood, a little algae: copepods are too small, but he might take after your amphipods. In a thick cheato mat, he can't reach them, anyway.

Rye - yes, I have a psychadelic goby. He's been hunting them down so I want to focus on replenishing the system, and finding a nice system that keeps him happy.

I'm planning a medium-sized mesh bag full of rock chunks that I'll transport from the refugium to main tank at night when the lights go out (then back to sump the next morning). Figure I'll have to determine the frequency as I go.

Yeah, I imagine the damsel won't be able to get to most of them. Even though he is a total *******.

I'm not sure, but I do know, that I have a red honey damsel in my 75 gal fuge. I haven't seen an type of pods in over 2 years. (I had a bunch before adding him) But I never seen him eating any before.
