If it's not pumping any water...it is NOT the skimmer itself...it's the PUMP! The soul and heart of this unit is the pump and it's the only cause of no water entering the skimmer body.
If the injector is clogged, it has nothing to do with preventing water entering the skimmer body. The only thing that will happen is that water will be entering the skimmer body without any air. I would look into getting a better quality pump...or maybe you just got a defective one.
