Second, let me see if I understand the question correctly. Are you looking to set up a saltwater tank for under $100? If so, it is possible I suppose, but will be very difficult to set up for that kind of money, and it will likely be very difficult to maintain such a small amount of water and keep it stable.

I would suggest you look for something a little bigger, try looking on Craigslist in your area for someone getting out and selling a complete setup. There seems to be a lot of good deals out there right now.
