That guy is a tool. The brown algae u r seeing is diatoms. It is perfectly normal in EVERY new tank. If I was u I would completely boycott his store. U CAN mix salts and seawater, lots of ppl do that to get the right mix of minerals and stuff they want. Obviously the store owner doesn't care about u or the animals he is selling, but only the bottom dollar. Like I said I would not go in his store.
