Ok so last night at 7pm, the storm hit north nj and bye bye power in my town at least, i was super fortunate to go to kazmier's petshop they went there and waited for me at 11pm and sold me 2 hurricane stage 5 battery pumps, that take d batteries if the battery it came with hasnt been charged, so i have been running one air pump in each mixed reef tank i have (120) and (55). Ok so for now the power had just gone back on, who knows if it will stay on, but my main concern is water temp. It dropped down to 65 degrees, so far nothing seems to be dead in my tank, coral or fish. Any more advice i can do? Im mixing salt now and will do a water change tommorow morning, i don think its safe to do a water change only a few hours after mixing salt. Anything else i can do to try and save these tanks??
