FWIW, I have an MP-40 on a 75. I was concerned that it would be overkill, but it is definitely not. It's set at about 70% in my SPS/LPS tank, and I supplement it with 2 maxi jet 1200s on alternating timers (plus the return from the sump). Very happy with it so far. Good luck.
