Mine worked fine the first 8 months and then stopped due to coralline buildup. I soaked it in vinegar for a day and ran water through it and it works but it now has an annoying clicking sound. I never took the thing apart since I cant find out how to open it without breaking it. For the first 8 months it was awesome and silent but not anymore.
