it is possiable, GFO pull out phosphate fast and will also get used up fast, sometimes within a day it needs to be changed. your best bet is to test the output levels of the GFO reactor and that will tell you when you need to change it.
also going by your numbers and the accuracy of the checker it may not have dropped much at all as your .07 could actually be .1-.04 and your .02 reading could be .05-.00. but if your getting a reading of .02 your good to go.
