Im getting back into it after 13 years,: I would say everything has changed. do tons of research on youtube with what todays equipment has to offer, and your options... trust me, your going to want to do a lot of research. they have modular extruded aluminium frames now, the wood is good, but outdated. Im fortunate enough to weld my own frame, and powder coat it. but the real change mostly is ; monitoring equipment, DC return pumps, wave makers, and lighting . besides that dossers have been around, but were never utilized in the marine industry till later...
