I have had my purple tang in a hypo salinity tank for a little over two weeks. He is at 1.008 to 1.009 measured with refractometer.
His ich looks to have cleared up but a couple days ago I noticed one of his eyes is clouded over almost looks like the start of pop eye or something.
Tonight I raised the salinity to 1.012 and intend to raise the water back to normal over the next week or two. Should I treat the eye with something and if so what. Or should I let it run its course.

The main tank has been fallow since 2/5/06. Is the ich dead from the tank or how long should it take?
