Hhmm, I have the 3/4's and I recall the SS people telling me a couple of months ago that the max flow is something a bit above 800 GPH (860?). 1 inch is quite a bit bigger than 3/4, so I'd guestimate 1400 or 1500 with no trouble.
I did run a single 3/4 for a short time with an Eheim 1262 driving it. I think the Eheim is about 1000 GPH at no head. It made a very powerfut jet, and it blew sand around the tank. So maxing them out is not the best option if you have a DSB.
I guessed wrong, from the Sea Swirl website: Flow Rate of One Inch Model - 1150 GPH
I wonder if that is lowballed some.
