Refugium help

Will this work for a refugium?? Any one else have suggestions for cheap fuse light to grow cheato

You'd be better off just getting a regular incandescent, or fluorescent bulb instead of that particular bulb.

They've been working for years. Most people go for flood-lights or the coil-type fluorescent bulbs.

I have used that 50/50 bulb as well as a 6500k temp CFL bulb from walmart. Only difference I noticed was the color between the bulbs. I've since switched to the CFLs because they're cheaper.

the 50/50 just projects an unneeded spectrum for a refugium that's all.
