Legacy Skimmer brought back to service

I bought a used skimmer years ago to build a system. Through a series of events, the project was delayed due to home changes and a home flood. I have moved this skimmer and a 120 gallon tank with the hopes of setting it up. This is the year. Any suggestions for mods to add to this Early skimmer? I upgraded the pump a couple years ago when I thought this was going to happen (the flood stalled that build) Anything plumbing to add to output? What depth of water do you think this should sit in?

Coral Wishlist : Daisy Polyps, Small snowflake Anthelia, blue or silver pulsing xenia, Zoas and mushrooms.

Current Tank Info: I'm an empty tank hoarder. 150 built into basement game room. Flood year and a half ago destroyed that room. Setting up 120 gallon now

Any suggestions on this skimmer and setting it up? I have never used this unit.

It looks like everything is ready to run. The PSK-1000 will perform well on that skimmer. I'd plug it in and let it run.
