What lighting is best for a low nutrient system like aquaforest?
As title states. What does aquaforest use on their tanks? Also is there a combo that works for growth but also appealing to the eye? Looking for peoples thoughts and experiences?
I currently run a reefbrite 250 Halide (radium) with blue LED's. |

I am fairly certain AF uses T5, Seweryn and Debora both use t5 too. I as well Any lights are compatible, and I have seen plenty of tanks with both LED and Halide, just seems the predominate choice for heavy SPS tanks is t5. I personally have 2 reefbrite strips that are on my tank with straight blue. Love the growth plus color... Cheers

I'm going with hybrid t5's. One tank will have a 8 bulb fixture with 2 RB strips the other will have 4 t5 bulbs with 3 full spectrum pucks

I use 3 X 250w radiums with 2 reefbrite XHO LED strips.
Beast. I was using T5 but found them to be flat as far as far as shimmer goes. I AM putting the 8x80 w ATI over my frag tank though.
