help with tricky IDs?
howdy folks. I've been capturing reef images for the last 20 years and I've been revamping my website to include species profiles of marine fish, invertebrates etc. I can identify most of them but there are a few that are proving very tricky! I'm just wondering what the best place to post them is really... or... a question for the mods... can I post a link to my website for people just to look generally please? - the reason I ask is because part of the site is a blog with a commercial element (although to be fair I haven't done much on this yet as the site is under major construction at the moment). I will flag this post to the mods myself... I've tried messaging but never had a reply.

You will need to post the images here.

ok, thanks. That's going to take some time!
Will start with this one for now... a Plectranthias species I know... but which? (can anyone claiming to know with reasonable surity please give details... i.e an online source, key identifying features etc) |
