Dc return pump

What’s everyone using for a dc return pump? I’m looking at the ecotech vectra but reviews say there is problem with some fitting. I am also looking at the Neptune cor-20 and the reef octopus varios.

i do notice my herbie drain fluctuates the slightest bit compared to an AC pump
not the end of the world but does create some noise occasionally

I just picked up a RO Varios. Haven't used it yet, but it looks very well built.

Vectra had some issues but may have been fixed by design updates. I forget which model though although I do hear / read of issues with some owners. Having said that I own a pair of Neptune Cor 15's. Seem to be ok so far in the 4 or so months I've owned them. They are built 10x better than the jebao DCT 15000 I had. While powerful and affordable/cheap it was also built has such - especially around the neck / outlet (paper thin and fragile to boot). I won't use jebao's again for that reason.

As I understand it, DC pumps do not handle head pressure as well as AC pumps

I have a Vectra M1 and like it. My original one had a problem, so I sent it to Ecotech to be repaired. A few days after they received my unit, I got a UPS return notification via email. They ended up sending me a completely new unit, no questions asked, and this was after my warranty period has expired. Based on this, and my experience with other Ecotech products, I’ll continue to buy their products.

I'm planning on the COR20 for my reefer 525 build. We'll built, great technology, and powerful enough for everything.

I have the M1 and so far so good. It's been running full throttle since March 2017. I have heard of the issues with L1 but I believe they have been resolved now.

I have an Abyzz A200 as a return pump, love it!
I had an L1 on a closed loop, had to have it fixed several times.
