420nm radiation essential for coral color and growth?

Has anyone noticed the importance of this wavelength for increased coral coloration and growth? I'm considering buying a 420nm stunner strip to supplement this wavelength for my reef tank which currently has only 445-455nm leds for the blue spectrum.

I read through an advanced aquarist article and it seemed to me this wavelength is crucial for proper coral growth and coloration. Maybe this is the reason why people say led's aren't as good as traditional lighting; they lack the radiation in the 420nm range. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had experience adding this type of light to their aquarium and has noticed better growth and coloration.

Here is the article that describes the importance:

This is the led strip in consideration:

Many led companies have begun adding violet, and it apparently helps... Though I don't know how well that strip will work..... I would look for a company(not eBay) that sells only for aquariums...

I've seen people try cheap LEDs, and it doesn't work, low wattage, low par, low quality, low everything...

Just MHO

Try something like these these are what's in premade fixtures
