Since you're on the East coast, I'd look at Dr. Macs. My purchases from him were excellent. Also got great specimens from Live Aquaria. They have a guarantee arrive/alive/refund/replacement policy. Most reputable vendors ship healthy animals. It's the over-night shipping that takes the greatest toll on them. If you purchase this time of year, be sure to pay attention the weather forcast in your area for the intended day of delivery. The boxes will most likely have heat packs. But you don't want it sitting on your doorstep in the snow for hours either. Good luck.

Another vote for Dr.Mac @ Pacific East. He's got some great stuff there, mostly corals and inverts. He keeps his fish supply limited but if you need something he's more than happy to get it for you if he can. I made the 2hr drive to pick up my live rock and was amazed at the corals. Now that the tank is ready, I'm making another trip to get some corals next week and can't wait.
