Replacing to brace/rim of a aga 125
Any suggestions. I was going to drain the tank 3/4 leave in the fish and coral. Use large clamps and 2x4 to sucure the front and back of tank then have at it.
Any suggestions are welcomed! |

Don't mess around....Get a new trim kit from AGA. Any decent LFS should work with you and get it for you. Many people suggest quickie fixes but I wouldn't want to take a chance on 1000 pounds of water and all your livestock.

i am curious to see how you removed it, i don't think you would have need any bracing if it was only off for a short time. i have been worried about mine breaking from the halides making the brace brittle so i put the reflective tape they put on duct work on the brace and trim. the tape actually holds up to the saltwater, after 3 years i think it has fused to the bracing and trim. i also use it on the hinges for the lids and i have never had one crack on me since
