I think I'm going to order one because I can't afford a reefkeeper or any of the neptune controllers. How do you like your ranco controller?

Yup. Of course, at this time of year my cooling stage never kicks on though.

I love mine. My cooling stage comes on even in the winter... I dont know how I ever did without it.

I used mine for both for cooling and heating applications on separate occasions. I currently have my heater plugged into it as a safeguard in case my heater therm craps out. A couple words of a advice. Don't pay more than $55 shipped for one and don't get it prewired unless you are an ultra anti-DIY'er. I laugh when I see places selling the prewired single stage ranco for $90-$110. The wiring is super easy. This ebay guy(thermalresources) has them cheap w/ fare shipping.
