Does 150W HQI Phoenix look like 250W HQI Phoenix
Does anybody have both running?
I am looking for 150W HQI bulbs. I got 20K (XMs or Hammys) and I don't like the color. I was thinking about the phoenix since I like them in the 250W version. Any opinions? |

I have a 6' fixture with 3 250's and 2 150's. Color looks real close to me.

Ab fixture? If so, then I have the same one that I was wondering about. I imagine that you have them on HQI ballasts?

I have the AB fixture with 2 250s and 1 150 in the middle. I am running all Phoenix bulbs and can say the 150 watt is FAR more blue than the 250 version. I can also say I love these bulbs.....the 150 brings out colors very well and I run it 7 hours per day and the 2 250s only 2 hours per day and everything is happy.
Here are a few picts with just the 150 watt bulb on my 75 gallon. They look really blue in the pict, but are not quite that blue in person: http://www.lynnandcathy.com/MainImages/reefpictures/
