which would be easier to frag
i bought some frags from a local reefer a few months ago and he threw in a small rock with some xenia and a few zoanthids on it. i can tell that the xenia is going to overgrow the zoa's in no time and something has to be done. so which do you think would be easier to move?
i'm leaning towards the xenia basically because i would prefer to lose them over the zoa's but would prefer not to lose either. |

You could probably wad up some xenias, wrap 'em into a baseball sized hunk with duct tape and play 9 full innings and they'd survive........ the Zoas would probably only last thru 3 innings

If you try and "remove" the xenia off the rock with the zoo's, odds are any organic xenia material left will regrow into more xenias. I'd actually try to frag the zoo's onto something else if possible.
