Typhoon Hang On Skimmer

One of our members here, kodyboy, has a Typhoon skimmer and highly recommends it. I looked at them on the Mfg's website and some of the suppliers websites. They look pretty solid.

Does anybody else have any experience with them?

I had one and I thought the construction was very solid. The skimmer made a huge amount of bubbles but I couldn't get any skimmate no matter how I set it. Also if the power went off the skimmer would overflow when the power came back on. Mine could be a unique experience but I wasn't happy and took it back to the lfs and exchanged it toward a CSS which I'm very satisfied with.
