Solaris LED Lighting System
I was wondering if anyone has heard or knows of anyone using this new LED lighting system. It's very expensive at $2325.00, but I'm seriously thinking about purchasing it for my tank instead of the MH. It claims not to transfer heat to the aquarium and its light output even though at 75 watts is equal to that of a 250w 20,000k MH.
I know that this is new technology for the reef aquarium but what do you all think should I just stick to the MH or go for the new technology that will cut down on the electric bill and do away with heat transfer to the aquarium and the need for a chiller? |

There have been mixed reviews. There is a thread here on the first page of this forum discussing the product with 640+ responses. I sure you can find some answers there.
