What is this if anything

Ok i bought some "life rock" off a person who was turning there small tank back to fresh water and a couple days after have the light over the sump where i put these rocks one of the rocks had this on it. Aside from the hair algae is this "white thing" something?

I see some halimeda (the tall algae), some valonia (the bubbles), some hair alga, and perhaps some bryopsis.

I'm not sure what 'white thing' you're referring to.

I think your refering to the bubble algae. Its usually dark green but not this time. Get ya an emerald crab or two for a couple bucks and they will take care of it.

Thank guys. That helps. Wasn't sure what i was looking at. I guess it is safe to say these are good "live" rocks?
