True Perc, Gut full of air?
Is it possible for a Clown to get a gut full of air? He has a blouted gut and the only thing i can figure is that somehow he's injusted some microbubbles that are in my display.

its very posible that the fish has air trapped in the belly. its one reason not to float food like flakes on the top of the water as well. but it could be something else. is the fish swimming ok? going up and down freely in the tank?

yeah sounds like hes got some air trapped. you need to squeeze it out of him ASAP.

its not easy, you will have to catch him under water without damaging it. the squeeze his belly. kinda like burping a baby. like i said im not 100% thats what is causing the bloating. but it sounds like it. the fish may "burp" himself. hard to say. and im not a fish doctor .

My percs will do the same thing if they eat at the flakes on top of the water. I try hard not to let the flakes float but it happens occasionally. Mine have always got rid of the air by themselves-never had to squeeze them!
