Acro Color Fading

Ive been having issues latley with all of my Acropora colonies, ive had them well over a year now and there stating to go brown, light brown. The corals were very green and purple before and now the polyps wont come out, all my other corals are doing fine, all of my montiporas are thriving. At first i thought it was becasue of a dwarf angel that was picking at them constatly so i removed him and theres still a problem. So today i tested everything and found my PH was 7.7 so my guees is this is why my corals are having issues, all other parameters are good I statrted to buffer my tank to get it back up but the buffer says to do it once everyday until desired PH is reached but should i increase the dosage for the corals sake?

Getting the pH up to 8.3 and keeping it there should be a big help. Is your CA and alk OK?

Did you check your Alkalinity? Low Alkalinity can lead to low pH.

raising ph w/ a buffer will bring alk extremely high, I would (and do) drip limewater to maintain a stable ph. You might also want to add macro algae which will raise ph as well
