fireworms in my pipe organ coral
Any ideas how to get fireworms out of my pipe organ coral? They're killing it.

i have read that the worms do not usually kill the corals, but since the worms are a good part of the cleanup crew, they scavenge toward the dying and decaying material. could it be that your coral is dying and the worms are taking care of it?

I would put money on the coral dying and the worms are just there doing their job by cleaning it up. Do you have any pics of the event?

I doubt the worms are doing anything to the coral unless you see it actively eating the polyps.
