Mandrins, Gobys and copepods

When I first added the mandrin I put a lot of copepods in the tank. I've had my mandrin for about a year now and it's very happy. My questions is this. I'd like to add a sand sifting goby but wonder if the goby would be removing any copepods in the sifting process?

yes, if the sand sifter sees a pod he'll eat it, it might not be his main diet but if oppertunity knocks...
